Airbus Online Assessment 2025
The Airbus online assessment, delivered by Arctic Shores, is designed to measure cognitive ability, emotional intelligence, and decision-making skills through game-based tasks. It contains over 200 questions split across multiple interactive exercises, each assessing different aspects of reasoning, accuracy, and emotional recognition.
Types of Questions:
-
Facial Expression Recognition – Candidates are shown a series of computer-generated faces and must quickly identify the emotion displayed (e.g., happiness, sadness, fear, anger, surprise, neutral). This evaluates emotional intelligence, speed, and accuracy under time pressure.
-
Shape & Number Tasks – You are asked to determine whether numbers are even/odd or if a shape is rounded/angled. These rapid-fire tasks test cognitive processing speed, attention to detail, and reaction time, with penalties if responses are too slow.
-
Situational/Ticket Tasks – These include security-style or ticket-checking scenarios where you must quickly identify correct or incorrect entries. They measure problem-solving, pattern recognition, and consistency across repetitive but varied tasks.
Assessment Format:
-
The test contains 200+ mini-questions across the 3 categories.
- there is no time limit, the test requires focus and accuracy under pressure.
-
Variations of the same question type appear frequently, ensuring consistency of performance is measured.
-
Visual and interactive elements (numbers, shapes, faces, warning signals) simulate real-time decision-making challenges.
Overall, the Airbus assessment goes beyond standard psychometric testing by combining gamified challenges with emotional recognition tasks. Success relies on accuracy, speed, adaptability, and resilience under time pressure.
